The Art of Sleeping

Just got back from a holiday on the other side of the world and I decided to post about this young Australian band that I saw last year, but happened to be quite busy to do it at the time.

The Art of Sleeping is a young Brisbane-based band that has a fair bit of fans in Melbourne. A mellow sound with keyboards and acoustic guitars, yet solidly arrange with drums, bass and electric guitar. The vocals somehow remind me good ol’ Goo Goo Dolls, and some of their influences are Australian bands FleetFoxes and Mumford and Sons (click on the links to listen a few tracks).
